All the pork used is from our own family-run farm situated in the Dargle Valley in the Natal Midlands. Only the best genetics available in South Africa are used in our pig herd. We work closely with a specialised pig Veterinarian. Our pigs are kept under humane conditions and are fed only maize/protein-based hormone-free diets. Meat used for our processing comes only from young female pigs thus removing any chance of Boar Taint. Our products are 100% pork and are made using traditional methods – they are handmade, and oak smoked on the farm! As we are a homemade, handmade product, we cannot guarantee that you will get your exact weight ordered; we will however try and get it as close to the weight ordered as possible.All our cattle are free range and grass fed on pastures and veld; their diets consist of products that are natural to the animal. They are free of any growth hormones and we can ensure the traceability of our meat. Our beef has been dry-aged on the bone for 14-18 days before processing. This allows the flavours to develop and the proteins in the meat to break down to ensure the tenderness and tastiness of the meat.
